September 21 marks a special day for Oniel Bebeshito as he celebrates three years in his music career, a milestone he commemorated with his followers on Instagram. The reggaeton artist took the opportunity to reflect on his beginnings in music and the achievements he's made through perseverance, dedication, and sacrifice.
"Today we're celebrating anniversaries—three years striving for a dream. I remember it like it was yesterday, man. I used to record myself alone and make my own music at Chino's house in Habana Records. I'd go early to wait for a slot to record, going hungry and in need, and then start recording at night and walk home by dawn from Belascoain and Malecón to Latino because I didn't even have 40 cents for the bus. Today, I see the results of all that sacrifice and, wow, I'm speechless," the singer wrote in a post.
From Covers to Original Hits
In his Instagram stories, Bebeshito reminisced about his first songs, noting how he initially didn't have a YouTube channel or any music platform to upload his work. He started with covers, which gained him fame, until his popularity pushed him to create his own songs.
Gratitude for Supporters
Bebeshito's deepest gratitude is always reserved for his fans, both inside and outside of Cuba. "Today, life has rewarded me for my effort and hard work with a great career, a wonderful family, many people who have embraced me as one of their own, and a whole nation that hasn't stopped supporting me in all my crazy endeavors, making me greater every day. All those Cubans who have emigrated and still support the music made on the island," he shared.
Just a few days ago, Bebeshito released the latest EP from his album 22 Caminos, a production that has been a resounding success from start to finish, cementing his position at the peak of popularity.
