After Yailin La Más Viral filed a lawsuit against Tekashi 6ix9ine for alleged grand theft and domestic violence, the New York rapper has not remained silent. Through Instagram, the artist refuted the charges by presenting documents that he claims show it was Yailin's record label that stole from her. According to Tekashi, although they signed in April 2023, it wasn't until February 2024 that she started receiving the money owed to her.
"Yailin is not signed with me; I never made a dime with Yailin, but I have invested, invested, invested. In fact, it's not an investment; we were a couple, so it was my duty to see you happy. You are my partner, my woman, and I want to see you succeed. If the record label is stealing your money, I won't ask who; if I have it, you have it," Tekashi stated.
Financial Disputes and Personal Investments
He recalled that several music videos produced by Yailin while they were together were entirely financed by him, with no contribution from her record label. "When people ask me about you, Yai, no one can speak ill of you; I lift you up high. You're treating me poorly, though... I don't want to discuss this on Instagram, but if I go to court, I could make things very difficult for you. If I countersue, I win," Tekashi warned.
Domestic Violence Allegations
Regarding the domestic violence accusations, Tekashi questioned how it was possible that, if he had supposedly abused her, she would leave her daughter Cattleya in his care. He even showed a video of him playing with the child, who hugged him affectionately. "You need to be coherent and use common sense.
