After two days of uncertainty, a Cuban woman named Elisa who had been reported missing was found on Wednesday in a park in the Cerro neighborhood, disoriented but alive.
The woman, who is an adult, was located and taken to a hospital where she received medical attention, according to her family who shared the news via the Facebook profile Garlobo Lvv.

Elisa was last seen wearing a colorful striped blouse, red leggings, a black cap, and carrying a small black backpack.
Her family had sought help from the community to locate her, posting their contact number on social media and asking anyone with information to get in touch immediately.
Rising Number of Missing Person Reports
Before her discovery, the family, along with friends and acquaintances, had launched a social media campaign to find her after she went missing on September 16.
This case of disappearance is part of a growing wave of missing person reports in Cuba in recent weeks.
In addition to Elisa, other recent cases include Rachel Sánchez Escaleira, a mother of three reported missing in Marianao, and Noemí Victoria Blanco Acosta, a 15-year-old girl missing in Cárdenas, Matanzas. There has also been a call for help to find Yankier Correa, a young man with moderate mental retardation who disappeared in Havana.
In a context of growing insecurity and rising crime on the island, disappearances have been increasing, leading families and friends to turn to social media for help in locating their loved ones.
