A would-be thief who tried to steal a police officer's horse right in front of the station was apprehended just minutes later. The bizarre incident occurred in the municipality of Sagua de Tánamo, located in Holguín.

A witness named Marta was present at the scene, attempting to hitch a ride, when she noticed the thief walking back and forth in front of the police station, acting strangely and looking around.

"He was particularly eyeing a horse tied across the street, which he tried to untie and steal, not realizing it belonged to a police officer," Marta detailed. Officers heard the commotion and chased the suspect, who fled into the woods, but they eventually caught him.
