Several Cubans are raising alarms about a gang of youths who assault people for fun in Havana, calling themselves "Los Trasnochadores" because they always operate at night or in the early hours of the morning. According to independent portal CubaNet, the group is active in the Cerro municipality.
"They kick you, they punch you, they hit you with sticks and stones, and they don't steal anything, nothing at all; it's simply to beat you up at 4 AM so people can't go to work," recounted one victim.
