A worker from the Empresa de Construcciones Ingenieras No. 6 (Ecoing-6) identified as Raymundo Narciso Sarría, was the fatal victim of an accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the Cementos Cienfuegos S.A. factory. A report from the state-run newspaper Granma indicates that the man died due to a spill of materials in one of the factory's hoppers.

Sarría, aged 61, was an electrician, according to Telecentro Perlavisión. The outlet also reported that Dionel Figueroa Calunga is in extremely critical condition with burns covering 70 percent of his body.

Another worker, Francisco Díaz Urquiza, is in very serious condition, while Hermes Rojas Campos is reported to be in serious condition. Carlos Aguilar Sabina and Alexei Aguilar Valdés are listed as less severely injured, according to the newspaper.

The victims of this accident are receiving treatment in the Burn Unit at the Dr. Gustavo Aldereguía Lima Provincial Hospital.
