While in Venezuela to "support the Communes in their Popular Consultation," the spy and national coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, seized the opportunity to take a selfie with dictator Nicolás Maduro.

The former head of the Red Avispa, responsible for the deaths of four civilians involved in operations with the Brothers to the Rescue Brigade, was also present at the XI Extraordinary Summit of the ALBA-TCP held in Caracas on Monday.

In his eagerness to document his activities in support of the fraudulent outcome of the recent Venezuelan elections, Hernández Nordelo shared a photo with the self-proclaimed president of the Chavista regime. The image quickly sparked sarcasm among Cuban netizens.

In the photo, the national coordinator of the Cuban regime's informant network poses with the criminal usurper of Venezuelan power. While Hernández Nordelo takes the selfie, Maduro extends his arm and makes a "V" for victory with his index and middle fingers.

This gesture did not go unnoticed by Cuban netizens, who took the opportunity to mock Hernández Nordelo, often depicted in Cuban humor as a cuckold following the episode of his wife, Adriana Pérez O'Connor, becoming pregnant “from a distance” while he was imprisoned in the United States in 2014.

"Uhmmm... Even Maduro knows it," joked the Facebook influencer identified as Edmundo Dantés Junior, referring to the "horns" made by Maduro's fingers in the image.

"A donkey and a deer posting a selfie on Facebook... How smart animals are!" commented one user, assigning the role of donkey to Maduro and that of a deer to Gerardo.

"The fly is always attracted to the dung. And in this case, the fly is bald, and the dung is big," observed one netizen. "As my grandmother used to say: Misery and calamity have come together," commented another.

In animal comparisons, the image reminded one user of the Cuban cartoon characters "Guaso and Carburo." Along similar lines, another user corrected the aim and compared them to "Platero and Bambi" (a donkey and a deer). Others simply shared images of horned animals.

"Maduro is going to get a horn blow," predicted one netizen, sensing danger for Hernández Nordelo's head, though the warning might be more about the crash awaiting him at the end of his fraudulent attempts than the threat posed by the spy's "horns."
