Woman Arrested in Miami for Running Over Another Woman in Jealous Rage

A woman was arrested last Friday after being accused of deliberately running over another woman, allegedly because the victim had taken her boyfriend. The incident occurred in May, but it wasn't until recently that the Miami Police tracked down the suspect.

The attacker, identified as Christal Azure Alexandre, was involved in an altercation on the night of the victim's sister's birthday celebration, where Christal's ex-boyfriend was also present. According to the arrest report, in the early hours of May 6, the victim first encountered Christal in a Wynwood parking lot, standing next to her boyfriend's car. The police stated that the woman asked her boyfriend if he knew who Christal was, to which he responded, "She's my ex-girlfriend," as reported by Local 10 News.

Christal, a 26-year-old resident of Miami Gardens, began following the couple in her car after they left Wynwood, driving erratically and pursuing them, according to police. The couple stopped near Flagler Street and Northwest Eighth Avenue in Little Havana, where a verbal argument escalated into a physical confrontation with Christal.

The report states that Christal accused the victim of "stealing her man," and when the victim walked away to call the police, Christal punched her in the lip. At that moment, Christal returned to her vehicle, reversed, and ran over the victim's leg, threatening her with the words, "I'm going to kill you!"

Although the complaint was filed two days later, it wasn't until last Friday that Miami police located Christal at a business park in Miami Lakes, where she was arrested. As of Monday, she remained in custody without bail at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
