The Bombarderos de Santa Clara, representing Cuba, made a spectacular debut this Thursday in the Little League World Series, defeating the Czech Republic 4-1 at the Volunteer Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

In a game characterized by excellent pitching, the Cuban team managed four hits and played flawless defense, while their European counterparts only managed two hits and committed one error. The win went to Deivis Hernandez, with the loss handed to Illia Kolomoiets. The tall Yan Espinosa secured the save.
