A state-owned Cuban truck driver sustained injuries after his vehicle fell from the Santa María del Rosario bridge, located in the Cotorro municipality of Havana.

Images shared by user Oscar Luis Castañeda in the Facebook group “ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!” showed the truck's damaged state. This user also indicated that the driver was transported to a polyclinic for medical attention.

At the time of this writing, the causes of the accident and further details about the injured driver remain unknown.

Last week, a vehicle belonging to a church in Sagua la Grande had a severe accident after colliding with a tree on the road leading to the town of Wilfredo Pagés, in the Villa Clara province. Additionally, two people died and six were injured, including two children, in a traffic accident on Saturday afternoon in Mayarí municipality, Holguín province, when a Chevrolet vintage car collided with a tree. The tragic incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. between the neighborhoods of Arroyo Blanco and El Solibano.

The following day, the mother of the two children, who was hospitalized at the Lucía Iñiguez Clinical-Surgical Hospital, also passed away.
