The National Bus Company has recently announced the opening of a new nursing area at the Santiago de Cuba bus terminal. On Tuesday, the company's Facebook profile shared news of the inauguration of this new room, highlighting that it is designed to provide a comfortable waiting space for mothers and their children before boarding the bus.

"For the people, the work of the UEB of National Buses in Santiago de Cuba is emphasized," boasted the company, which is often the target of severe criticism due to the poor quality of service they provide.

Recently, dozens of Cubans endured up to five days on the waiting list at the Havana bus terminal, amid the country's ongoing transportation and fuel crisis. Journalist Yosmany Mayeta posted images showing people of all ages, including small children, sleeping on the floor of the Villa Nueva Terminal in Havana.
