Yariulvis Cobas from Cuba has secured her spot in the E final of the Women's Single Sculls at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Competing at the Vaires-Sur-Marne Nautical Stadium, Cobas triumphed in the first E/F semifinal with a time of 8:36.16 minutes, outpacing three other competitors.

The top three finishers included Aisy Saiyidah Binte Mohamed from Singapore, clocking in at 8:47.41 minutes, and Soaad Alfaqaan from Kuwait, finishing at 9:01.78 minutes, according to the official website of the event.

Last Sunday, Cobas participated in the repechage round in an attempt to advance to the quarterfinals. She placed third in her heat with a time of 8:10.64 minutes, falling short of the top two spots needed to advance. Joanie Delgaco from the Philippines and Pham Thie Hue from Vietnam secured their places with times of 7:55.00 and 8:00.97 minutes, respectively.
