Missing Cuban Man Found Alive After Nearly a Year in Guantánamo

Félix Rojas Pérez, a Cuban man who is both deaf and mute, has been found alive after being missing for nearly a year, bringing immense relief to his family. "According to our follower and Félix's relative, María Isabel Rojas Méndez, a woman from Santiago, she managed to find him and brought him home in a car," announced official journalist Miguel Reyes Mendoza, known on Facebook as Miguel Noticias.

The journalist reported receiving a message from the relative, who emotionally thanked him for publicizing the case. Rojas Pérez was last seen on August 19, 2023, in the La Güira Community in the Manuel Tames municipality. "He even spent his 62nd birthday away from home," noted Reyes Mendoza.

When he was first reported missing, family members said he was last seen wearing a blue-green plaid shirt, green pants, and dark sneakers.
