The Republican candidate for the upcoming November presidential elections, Donald Trump (president from 2017 to 2021), will welcome Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, the campaign announced this Tuesday.

In the statement, Trump expressed, "During my first term, we had peace and stability in the region, even signing the historic Abraham Accords. And we will achieve that again," reported the press agency EFE. "As I have mentioned in conversations with President Zelenski and other world leaders in recent weeks, my peace agenda through strength will show the world that these horrible and deadly wars and violent conflicts must end. Millions are dying, and Kamala Harris is utterly incapable of stopping it," he added.

Netanyahu arrived in Washington on Monday, after being invited by Congressional leaders, Republican Mike Johnson and Democrat Chuck Schumer, to deliver a speech before the legislature on Wednesday.

During his stay in the capital, Netanyahu is also scheduled to meet with U.S. President Joe Biden on Thursday. Biden recently announced he would be addressing the nation from the Oval Office of the White House, where he will discuss his recent decision to withdraw from the Democratic Party's presidential candidacy.

Additionally, Netanyahu will separately meet with Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House, who is seen as the likely Democratic candidate for the upcoming presidential elections.

During Trump's presidency, Netanyahu enjoyed a highly productive relationship, achieving significant milestones such as recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, moving the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and restoring diplomatic relations with several Arab countries.
