The controversy involving Cuban reggaeton artist Oniel Bebeshito and a fan known as Yelenis La Tigreza during his recent concert in the city of Camagüey continues to stir conversation. Now, Bárbara García, the mother of the young woman, has spoken out in defense of her daughter. She did so through CiberCuba, sending a message that also addresses the security guard involved in the incident, referred to as Garinga.

"Good morning, this is Yelenis La Tigreza's mother. I deeply regret what happened to my daughter because it could have been fatal, but fortunately, it wasn’t. I am hurt by the shame and humiliation my daughter experienced at that moment, as she simply wanted to hug and kiss Bebeshito since she is a fan," García initially wrote.

She continued to address Garinga, who apparently knew the young woman from Camagüey and was aware of her health issues. "On the other hand, I don't understand why Garinguita treated her so roughly, as if she were an object. I don't understand, because that boy has always gotten along well with my daughter, especially knowing that she has undergone five colon surgeries. My daughter has been in delicate health since birth; everyone in Camagüey knows how sick she was and the severe health events she has endured for 11 years since she was born. It's hard to believe, Garinga, that you would treat her so cruelly. I don't wish you any harm because I am a mother and a decent woman. We are not accusing you; let it be clear, we just hope that God will bring justice and clarity to this situation.

Although I wasn't there, my daughter publicly apologized to the singer, the musicians, and all his followers. Thank you, Yelenis' mother, Bárbara García," she concluded.

The incident has sparked a heated debate among the followers of Oniel Bebeshito and Yelenis La Tigresa, dividing opinions on social media. The public defense by Bárbara García highlights her concern for her daughter's well-being and safety, while the responses from the reggaeton artist's fans and the community supporting the young woman remain mixed.
