Motorcyclist Dies in Traffic Accident in Havana

A motorcyclist tragically lost his life on Monday morning on Boyeros Avenue in Havana, according to a witness who shared the news on social media. A video posted by the Facebook user identified as "Asere Backagain" showed a red motorcycle and the victim's body covered with a black plastic sheet laying on the road.

"Sad accident on Boyeros Avenue with a fatality. Rest in peace. More responsibility is needed on the road, along with streets suitable for transit. May God rest his soul. Today, a family mourns. Condolences and strength," the source wrote on social media.

At this time, no further details about the incident have emerged, although a social media user inquired about the circumstances in the popular group Accidentes Buses & Camiones. The initial images shared by the source show several witnesses and a green police truck at the scene.

According to a friend of the victim, the deceased man was a family father.

Recent Traffic Incidents in Cuba
