Since arriving in the United States in January 2023, La Diosa has been grateful for every opportunity this country has offered her, both personally and professionally. This July 4th, as the nation celebrates Independence Day, the Cuban singer shared an emotional message on her Facebook profile in honor of the occasion.

"Today, I celebrate this beautiful date with pride. I'm another Cuban who found happiness in this great country and a future for my children," the artist declared.

La Diosa has found in the U.S. the freedom she lacked in her homeland: "I will always have immense gratitude and respect because here, they returned to me everything that had been taken away where I was born. It's incredible to say, but it's true. Thank you, UNITED STATES. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY."

In her post, the singer included a photo taken during her protest at the World Baseball Classic game between Cuba and the United States, where she held the American flag and had "Patria y Vida" drawn on her face.
