An accident involving a vintage car and a vehicle from the Empresa de Correos de Cuba took place this Thursday on a busy street in the city of Holguín, according to reports on social media.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Cuba Street and Morales Lemus Street in the capital city of Holguín. In the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!", user Pedro Domínguez claimed that the green vintage car failed to respect the stop sign.

The same user added in the comments section that the driver of the vintage car suffered minor cuts on his face from the windshield fragments after the crash.

Several users agreed on the danger of the intersection where the incident occurred, noting that many drivers do not respect the stop sign. In the shared images, significant damage can be seen on the front part of the Chevrolet, which almost lost one of its front tires. Meanwhile, the vehicle from the Empresa de Correos de Cuba lost its entire front bumper.

Earlier the same day in Santiago de Cuba, two motorcycles collided at a busy intersection, leaving at least two people injured. Journalist Yosmany Mayeta posted on Facebook that the incident occurred at the intersection of Escario Street and Segunda Street in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood.

According to the journalist, initial reports indicate that the driver of the red motorcycle, who was coming down Segunda Street, failed to respect the stop sign and collided with the other motorcycle that was traveling on Escario Street, which has the right of way.
