A thief was caught on a cellphone camera while stealing a car from a parking lot in Miami. The video was shared by Cuban-American journalist Mario J. Pentón, who stated that he received it from a follower.

"Hello, Mario. This happened near 5750 NW and 183 St. Watch how they open a car to steal it in broad daylight. A relative of mine filmed it and called the police," wrote the journalist from Martí Noticias.

In the video, a man can be seen getting out of a parked car and attempting to open the door of the adjacent vehicle. Initially, he pauses as another car passes by, but then he succeeds in his attempt.

Finally, he leaves the vandalized car's door open, presumably waiting for another person to take it away.
