Yenisley Torres Pérez, a Cuban woman who had been reported missing since May 9 in Havana, has been reunited with her family, the feminist platform YoSíTeCreo en Cuba confirmed on Monday. "Yenisley was happily located by her family several days ago, as verified by OGAT [Observatorio de Género Alas Tensas]," the source indicated.

As is typically the case in such situations, the feminist platform did not provide any additional information regarding the circumstances of her return or the reasons behind her disappearance. It was previously reported that Yenisley is a mother of two girls and resides in the Abel Santamaría neighborhood in the Boyeros municipality, Havana.

YoSíTeCreo en Cuba reiterated on Monday that there are currently three active alerts: three-year-old Lali Paola Moliner, who has been missing since February 27 in Cojímar, Havana; as well as Karildi Caridad Marín and Maileivys Martín.

Karildi Caridad Marín, 24, a resident of Párraga in Arroyo Naranjo, has been missing since December 14 of last year while on her way to a party in the Cerro municipality, Havana. Maileivys Martín, 36, from Nuevitas, Camagüey, has been missing since May 6, 2024, when she was reportedly heading to a course on eyebrow styling in the provincial capital.

The reports of missing Cubans have become increasingly frequent in recent months, along with social media pleas for information amidst a backdrop of growing violence in the country. In its report on Monday, YoSíTeCreo en Cuba did not mention or provide any updates on the case of Melisa Odaisi Peraza Cabrera, a 24-year-old woman who had been missing since May 14 but contacted her family to inform them that she is part of a group of 19 rafters lost at sea.

The feminist platform YoSíTeCreo en Cuba urgently requested assistance from authorities after the young woman communicated her situation to her family. According to the source, a group of seven women and 12 men were drifting somewhere off the coast of Artemisa and/or Mayabeque, with no information on whether it was the north or south coast.
