Details of the road accident were shared on the Facebook group “Accidentes Buses & Camiones por más experiencia y menos víctimas!” The incident occurred this Tuesday on a hill known as La Raspadura, in the La Ceiba community.
Locals familiar with the truck occupants confirmed that the driver’s assistant died in the crash, while the driver sustained injuries. However, at the time of publishing, the driver’s health status remains unclear. The deceased was a resident of the rural community of La Güira and was described as “a great person” by a user.
