The family of Karildi Marín, who disappeared on December 14th in Havana, is in a state of desperation as they have received no news about her nearly six months later. Despite this, they remain hopeful that they will hear something eventually.

Yoandri Marín, the young woman's brother, posted on Facebook this Monday, noting that "five months and a bit have passed, and we still don't know anything." He reiterated that she "left home on December 14, 2023, at 8:00 PM, heading towards Cerro."

However, he emphasized that "the family does not lose hope of learning something about my sister" and once again shared his phone number, pleading with people to report any information, no matter the time, to 54291630.

Karildi Marín's father remembered her on Mother's Day, noting that his daughter, the mother of a young child, remains missing. Tomás Marín shared several photos on Facebook of Karildi in her role as a mother, including one from when she was pregnant shortly before giving birth, and others with her daughter, who is just a year old.

"A path of blessings for my granddaughter and her mom," he wrote in the group Denunciando los crímenes en Cuba.

The police’s inadequate handling of the case has faced criticism from many Cuban netizens, who have denounced their inefficiency. Initially, the calls for a better investigation came from the woman's family, but the case has since garnered widespread solidarity.
